KITCHEN EXTRACTION SYSTEM CLEANING

A neglected kitchen extraction system is a major fire risk. Over time, grease and oil build up in ductwork, fans, and canopies, creating a highly flammable environment. Without regular cleaning, even a small spark can lead to a devastating fire.

Compliance with BESA TR/19 Grease standards is not just best practice—it’s a legal requirement. Under the Fire Safety Order 2005, businesses must manage fire risks, and insurers often demand proof of regular cleaning. Failure to comply could result in invalidated insurance claims, fines, or even business closure.

Regular extraction cleaning also improves airflow, enhances kitchen efficiency, and helps maintain a hygienic working environment. Keeping your system clean means a safer, more efficient kitchen that meets all legal and insurance requirements.
